Status Update on OpenStack Integration and How to Contribute to Both OpenStack & OpenDaylight - Isaku Yamahata, Intel & Mike Kolesnik, RedHat

One of the biggest use-case of OpenDaylight is OpenStack integration. The challenge is that it requires to understand both OpenStack and OpenDaylight. In this presentation, not only technical aspects will be shown, but also community aspect will be shown. On the technical side, the architecture overview, hot topics under development as current status and future plan will be shown. On the community side, how the community works will be shown so that it will help developers/users to contribute to it. The activity spans over OpenStack neutron/networking-odl and multiple projects of OpenDaylight. Although it may sound a bit scary, the reality is that most members of the community overlap. Some small hints/tips will help to lower the first barrier and opendaylight contributor will quickly feel comfortable with networking-ODL or vice versa.
