Speakers will talk about the high level concept of Service Function Chaining (SFC). They will also discuss the major usecases that makes it a one of the critical functionality that is getting traction from service providers across the globe. They will also briefly discuss the role of SDN controller and how it helps to design better solution for SFC compared to other alternatives. Speakers will walk through the architecture that is being developed across the OpenStack and OpenDaylight project to enable OpenStack SFC feature support in OpenDaylight controller. Speakers will go through the details of the control flow of how SFC functionality is realized under the hood across these two project. At the end of the session speakers will demonstrate the SFC functionality in OpenStack and OpenDaylight environment and open up the session for Q&A session.
